Goal
Develop a name and brand direction that reflects the land’s character and adds credibility. This work will position the property as a high-end destination for future development, partnerships, and premium buyer interest.
- Three viable name & logo options for the property.
- Inspired by the vision of the owners while creating a brand platform that would fit well alongside the Yellowstone Club, or other Discovery Land Investments.
- Present and discuss the directions in a creative workshop with property owners to align on final direction.
- Develop the foundation of a brand platform that brings the credibility and appeal of investors and developers via moodboards and logos.
“Let Your Spirit Take Flight”
- “Volerra” comes from the French root voler, meaning “will fly”
- The name has a sense of adventure, freedom, and movement that lends itself easily to the design
Embrace the Rustic flair with a grounded authentic Western personality
Rounded, bold type along with some added texture adds that hint of vintage old west flair while still maintaining a clean soft look that doesn’t feel super dated
The type (specifically the V) pulls from the styles of logos you’d see used for livestock branding
- Solara comes from a latin word meaning “of the sun” and is a name built around light, warmth, and openness. It feels modern without losing that connection to the West
Drawing from the region’s golden hours + big-sky sunsets to capture the emotional experience of Idaho’s sunsets and open plains
Less “rustic lodge,” more “boutique mountain retreat.”
Not too formal but still elevated and curated
- Elkstone is a name that feels rooted, strong, and tied directly to the land
-
Draws on the wildlife, horse imagery and frontier spirit, while still showing a quiet western luxury
Feels curated, selective, and tailored with a hint of hand made artistry
Advantage of creating a variety of logos, you can apply a logo everywhere without quickly becoming repetitive
